Expressing a love of nature and our connectedness with the environment are the bases for my ceramic artworks. Using natural elements such as clay are a link to the earth, so when time permits, I also enjoy experimenting with ceramics and small sculptures.
Spending time in the garden increases intimacy with mother earth, tending to plants and digging around in the soil is extremely satisfying. Evolving from a want to create a better world for our children within our own environment.
I try to encourage others to be kind to our planet as there is so much beauty to be found in living things and an urgent need for us to protect and nurture them. Establishing a link to nature and positive interaction with mother earth gives a sense of hope for the future.
